E. Health / Age Restrictions

How old do you have to be to do a Segway Experience?

There are no minimum age restrictions however riders have to be over 134cm tall and over 45kg (7.1 stone)


Is there an upper age limit?

No, however all participants must be fit and healthy, if a participant has any concerns they must contact their GP.


I have an injury or illness can I still participate?

If you are not in good health you should NOT participate.

We are not medically trained professionals and therefore cannot comment on indvidual cases and so strongly reccomend you consult your doctor if you have any concerns about your health.


Are there any other Health Restrictions?

Yes, all pre-existing medical conditions must be declared before riding a Segway. Falls from a Segway are possible and if you have anything in your medical history that might be affected by a fall we recommend you do not take part. 

Participants defintley should not ride if they are:

  • pregnant
  • under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • have a disability such as epilepsy or heart disease
