Segway Events appears on Sky One's A League of Their Own!

A couple of months ago Segway Events received an interesting phone call from A League of Their Own looking for a Segway to feature in the hit Sky One show. 

Happy to take part, the next day Segway Events travelled down to London for a day of filming on one of the UK’s funniest quiz shows.  With the guests confirmed as Olympians Chris Hoy and Rebecca Adlington the atmosphere was one of excitement as well as laughter. 

Once on set, our team set about unpacking the equipment and ensuring that the necessary paperwork was complete.  The Segway itself was used by comedian and actor Jack Whitehall, who after a brief safety talk, was soon gliding around the set filming a brief comical scene for the show’s introduction to the two legendary Olympians.  With the filming complete and the excitement of a Segway on set quietening down, it was finally time for our guys to pack up the equipment and set about enjoying the show as part of the lucky live audience!

The entire day was thoroughly enjoyed by the Segway Events team and was as much fun to be a part of as it was to watch.
